八の半分。
½8 is a studio by Anton Sokolov. Tokyo-based artist, journaler & sofware designer
My background blends creative practice with software design, spanning immersive web experiences, physical installations, and productivity-focused tools. At JetBrains, I design software that improves how people work and think, while ½8 allows me to push beyond conventional structures — turning observations into something tangible.
Most of my projects are called ½ [*] ( *Journal, Book, etc. ), which is derived from my moniker, ½8. Mathematically, ½8 = 4; visually, an 8 splits into 0, 3, 4, ∞, each a reminder that meaning is never fixed — it’s shaped by how we choose to engage with it. Whether through digital experiments, writing, or visual storytelling, ½8 is where I explore these transformations.
